Break booster. The same thing those pics are showing he has his T'd into. You don't have to mount it there..he just did it for a cleaner install..you could easily just run the extra hose to where ever you see fir to mount it...

You dont need a dremel but its a lot quicker and easier. If you look at your stock hardline its longer than mine, you have to cut a few inches off and also cut some softline to join the two pieces together.

cessblood - thanks.

Update - need to get a clutch!!!! I drove a tc with a CC stage 4 and do not like it. I am leaning towards an ACT street clutch i believe it holds 380tq so I should be fine.

Any input feel free.

I was gonna get the CC stage 4...the stage 3 is a disc style, not a puck style like the 4, so it shoudl feel completely different.

What didn't you like about the stage 4?

It engages about 1/4" off the floor. I mean just let out a hair and its going... real easy to stall but good for racing I suppose. The clamp force is crazy also. The pedal feels like your working out your cavs to be an nba athlete lol.

On the other hand, the damn thing bites like crazy and you can EASILY get going without ANY gas at all. Its just not for me in So.cal bumper to bumper freeways.

Well, I'm ONLY considering Competition Clutch...everyone has talked me out of the Spec, ACT and Cluthchmasters already, so it's between the CC Stage 3 or CC stage 4. The stage 3 says its good for 150%-200% over stock, and the Stage 4 goes up to 250%...but what exactly does that mean?

well i guess if you can find out how much the stock clutch can handle you just multiply by 1.5 or 2 then add that haha

so say stock can handle 200 lbs of tq

200 x 2 = 400
200+400= 600 lbs yo

haha but i could be wrong (most likely i am =p )

no if its 200% of stock its just 200% times stock

so stock is 180*200% (i.e. 2) = 360. you don't add the stock to it.

UPDATE:

Tested a few things today and it seems like (as weird as it is) that the vacuum filter that comes with the hks bov is 90% of the stumbling/ idle problems. I dont know why that is but im not complaining. I also ran the shortest line possible from the vac block to the bov (there is ZERO slack in it).

So for all with issues, if you have the vac filter installed pull it off and hopefully it helps.

subies are different as stock they have a recirc and their ecu is programed for it so to install a bov that does 100% atmosphere screws everything up. for a tC it shouldn't matter, did you change spark plugs to one stage colder? that may be an issue

See, this is what I thought as well, but if we follow that, the CC stage 1 which only holds 40% over stock would hold 180*40% (i.e. .4) = 72!
