i presume i should be ok if i get it tuned at a decent shop (looking at Ripp Mods here in Staten Island...if anyone heard bad bout them let me knoe)
and whats this about the bov, beause of our maf sensors we need to recirculate it back into the intake for it to work properly?
not to sound like a noob, but when u do this , would u lose that whoosh sound?

we don't need to recirculate it; a few people with various kits think some of our stalling problems are atmospheric BOV related, but many have them without problems, too. yes, a recirculating BOV would NOT make the loud WHOOSH that i know and love
since some of our tunes are regulated by boost pressure and not MAF voltage (GReddy pressure sensor, AEM FIC), wouldn't that nullify the atmospheric theoretical problem that presents itself to an MAF-tuned ECU?

yeah...just to verify...the only ones with this kit getting the "boom" do NOT have profesional tunes. I am not getting the boom. (how I have 3 kids without it, I don't know!)
And no, you do NOT need to recirc the BOV, but it would help the rich condition after letting off. If you do a 50/50, it woudl be really good, and you would get a litthe "woosh" but most of it is being recirced.
But on a good tune, you should only go rich for a minute...you actually go lean after it clears out because your off the throttle but the turbine is still spinning.
I guess you could reposistion the MAF sensor after the BOV so that the metered air is accurate, but I think someone mentioned that before and it wasnt' a good idea with the stock ECU for some reason...can't rememmber why though.

how many untuned boosted tCs do you know of if 550cc injectors?
Remember, the only kits that were said to be OK without managment were TreadStone and ZPI, both which ran with 440cc injectors.
trust me...it will go away after your properly tuned.
