thanks for the answers bro
i presume i should be ok if i get it tuned at a decent shop (looking at Ripp Mods here in Staten Island...if anyone heard bad bout them let me knoe)

and whats this about the bov, beause of our maf sensors we need to recirculate it back into the intake for it to work properly?

not to sound like a noob, but when u do this , would u lose that whoosh sound?

you should be good if you have a good tune

we don't need to recirculate it; a few people with various kits think some of our stalling problems are atmospheric BOV related, but many have them without problems, too. yes, a recirculating BOV would NOT make the loud WHOOSH that i know and love

since some of our tunes are regulated by boost pressure and not MAF voltage (GReddy pressure sensor, AEM FIC), wouldn't that nullify the atmospheric theoretical problem that presents itself to an MAF-tuned ECU?

you just need a gt that digs your car!

yeah...just to verify...the only ones with this kit getting the "boom" do NOT have profesional tunes. I am not getting the boom. (how I have 3 kids without it, I don't know!)

And no, you do NOT need to recirc the BOV, but it would help the rich condition after letting off. If you do a 50/50, it woudl be really good, and you would get a litthe "woosh" but most of it is being recirced.

But on a good tune, you should only go rich for a minute...you actually go lean after it clears out because your off the throttle but the turbine is still spinning.

I guess you could reposistion the MAF sensor after the BOV so that the metered air is accurate, but I think someone mentioned that before and it wasnt' a good idea with the stock ECU for some reason...can't rememmber why though.

Yeah...you ALL need tunes!
I neve got that for the 2 weeks I drove untuned, but I was on 3.5psi of boost and running on stock injectors.

I have my 550 on stock ecu tune and an empty emanage. but i didnt hear much complain of boosted tc having this, not until now... weird

Remember, the only kits that were said to be OK without managment were TreadStone and ZPI, both which ran with 440cc injectors.

trust me...it will go away after your properly tuned.

you can have a gf and still get a turbo my girlfriend said she would be mad if i didn't she wants me to be happy. but then again a few weeks ago on ebay there was a motorcycle for sale saying i guess do what ever you want doesn't mean do whatever you want lol hahahahahah

started the car several times today and its gone.. i had a map loaded already, we'll see if it happens again. It runs so much better!
