we will try with one manual boost controller to start with and see how that goes.

we would love to start simple, but we haven't even got to the point of starting!

what PSI do you think we should tune up to? I got my meth spraying when there is boost pressure. I have done 10, I just don't know if 12 may be pushing it or not.

Ok.........

You need to start over with tuning this kit. Dont just try and use everything you did with your last....its will only cause more headaches for you and I think you will agree but you have had enough.

1-Dont hook up the boost controller until you tune off the wg...

2-Disconnect the meth until you get # 1 dialed in

3-hook up the boost controller after you do #1

4-once you figure out where to set the boost controller then re introduce the meth...maybe

That is making things SIMPLE. Quit trying to do it all at once.

Again I can only help and offer advice.

Regards-

Todd

That is exactly what we are doing! Cool... We are working with the ultimate now and my tuner says nothing but good things about it.

judging from all of the stuff you have done to your car, im assuming that you have droped some serious coin to get this far. so why would you want to use a piggyback to try and tune it? get a standalone. trying to run 18psi on a piggyback will result in fail.

because i think alex really wants to drive his car, some weird ___ laws prevent the tuner tuning it for street driving or something i guess.

i'm pretty sure theres a ton of illegal stuff on that car anyway so i dunno, but maybe its just lack of funds

lol mainly because I do not want to spend that kind of money on my engine yet. The 18psi was a fluke occurrence and it only happened because of the wastegates being installed wrong.

I don't feel like spending the time tuning a complete ECU from scratch when my tuner is just as confident using the ultimate for my current goals.

I think we are going to be looking at around 10-12 psi with meth and see how that goes.

well good luck. just remember to take things really slow. it would be a shame to have yet another failed project tc.
