Default TURBO TOYOTAS Install( lots of pics)

hey there I bought SUPERXERO's parts from his V2.1 kit. what I got was
V2.1 el manifold
4 bolt down pipe and S pipe.
90 degree silicone coupler
charge pipe with hks adapter
two pipes that look like they probably go with the intercooler
intake pipe to turbo with aem dryflow filter
two t bolt clamps
two slim line radiator fans
intercooler

so than I bought

t3/t4 60A/R cold side 82 A/R hot side with 4 bolt exit Garrette turbo.
HKS SSQV in limited black'
intercooler brackets

so now i need to get couplers
oil lines
tbolt clamps

but I think I am missing a pipe. can anyone lead me in the direction of a post were it shows in details the same kit as mine ? I need to figure out what way to clock my turbo. I have not started but I know this is what will come up. I just started a new job so I will be finishing this kit a lot faster than i expected. I will start my own thread soon. just need to know how to clock the turbo and can someone explain to me how to mount the intercooler ? i have no instructions for this kit whats so ever so i dont have nothing to refer back to. thanks guys.

post up some pics of what you have. you should also look into getting a vacuum block and some stainless steel clamps (home depot ones for pipes 1/4"-3/8" OD work perfect for every hose except the boost gauge hose)

what gauges do you have?

I did that as well. Go to ace hardware and ask them for the strongest bolts they have. They will get it right for you!

where is your intake hot side outlet port at? I think you may need to clock the turbo.

Ok...

In the picts you have the oil drain pointed up...

so you will need to clock the chra (center section) all the way around. So that hole is facing down.

For the compressor housing you will rotate it so the outlet is facing towards the front of the car at a slight downwards facing angle.

In the pictures you sent me, you had all the ICP piping and intake. Where did they go?

As for the large 90 elbow coupler you posted, you will trim that down so it has 3" legs in either direction.

It looks like you starting install, but you are missing some parts still, so please do not forget about those.

Keep posting and between the "boys" and myself we will get you headed in the right direction.

Regrds-

Todd

haha what todd said, i didnt even notice the oil drain is pointing up but just the compressor elbow.. and oh you dont have a 90 degree elbow on your compressor outlet, you need one to mount to the hot side IC pipe

ok, so your center section of the turbo needs to be clocked so that the square outlet hole is on the bottom

as for your piping, it looks like you have all of the pipes, but you will need another (smaller) 90 degree coupler for the hot side charge pipe to connect to the outlet on the compressor

other than the standard questions like "do you have the gaskets, silicone couplers, t-clamps, and bolts/nuts for everything" your kit appears to be complete
