what boost controller are you using? it should have instructions on how to do it.
you should have a vac line going to the side port on the tial and the other end to a vac source (vac block, brake booster line, intake manifold, ect). then a manual boost controller just splices inbetween that line going to the wastegate. Boost controllers are directional so check the flow direction for your boost controller.

for a boost controller like this (typically) the bottom port will go towards the vac source with the side port going towards the wastegate.

mbc's like this are self explanatory

if only an arrow is present it is showing you direction of flow, arrow will go towards (point to) wastegate

there are also incabin mbc's that may be a little more confusing

be careful on how you adjust, when you first install it turn the boost controller all the way down (meaning to the point that no extra boost is added and keep an eye on your boost gauge) and only increase in small amounts. its easy to goof up and overboost.
