honestly I took an M5...
i did keep up with a Hooked up SRT-8 Charger- im not gonna say i won cuz i didn't but neither did he. he said he was hooked up and was putting down 500hp/500tq.
i raced a LS1 corvette from the dig... he took off a half car length (tC's suck in getting grip on the 1st gear) second gear, third gear i caught up with him... 90 or so mph, i was a nose up and then he backed out- chicken!

third, it doesn't all come down to 1/4 mile time. sorry. an RX-8 would devour a tC (stock) on any sort of road with curves. and i wouldn't say a turbo tC is "easily" in the 12's. you ever wonder why a 300whp tC runs 13 but a 450whp tC runs 12.5? FWD + insane power = no traction. high hp does not mean fast 1/4 mile time (since that's all that matters in your book).
normally i don't post something like this, but your comment was so ridiculous i just felt the need to address it.

You don't understand. Average WHP for a turbo'd tC without major builds are like 250WHP at 8 lbs or so. Jeff had a completely built bottom end and head I think and he made 454WHP and 458WTQ, one of the fastest daily driving tCs ever on the boards.

secondly- dont try to put down my greddy kit... I know I've beaten the M5 and its developed a big arguement here on SL before but i know what I raced and I know the outcome!
thirdly- We are talking about the power in this thread so im sorry but yes it is coming down to the 1/4 mile time. my tC takes an EVO so bad... and an EVO does 13.2 1/4 mile time.
