It was pumping more than 300whp. It was on 14 PSI and Race gas, hardly 300whp. More like 350-400whp. But yes, a 454whp tC is faster than 12.5 sec 1/4 mile.

second, there's no way your greddy tC takes a new M5. that's just not happening. maybe an old model. those of us with TurboToyota kits running higher PSI levels MIGHT be able to keep up with a brand new M5 and take it on a good day from a roll.
third, it doesn't all come down to 1/4 mile time. sorry. an RX-8 would devour a tC (stock) on any sort of road with curves. and i wouldn't say a turbo tC is "easily" in the 12's. you ever wonder why a 300whp tC runs 13 but a 450whp tC runs 12.5? FWD + insane power = no traction. high hp does not mean fast 1/4 mile time (since that's all that matters in your book).

You people suck at knowing Facts. 300whp tC runs high 12's with the right traction and driver. A 450whp tC should and could run low 12s/high 11's....
Secondly, RX8 sucks with and without a turbo. It's over priced for the performance you get. It does not blow the doors off a stock tC even if the 8 has a manual. They only run high 14's at best. A tC runs low 15's. So, they are pretty damn close when it comes to racing in a straight line. Now in the turns, yes, 8 > tC.

Yeah, but a Stage 3 SRT is pumping out in the 300+whp range. A tC on only 8 PSI is 260whp at best, unless you got some massive GT30 and up turbine on it. So, I wouldn't say it came down to the driver on that. The SRT guy would have to basically suck major big ones to loose to a tC on only 8 PSI.
But all that is, is a few cranks on the boost ****, and put the tC back in front of that Stg. 3.
