The stock clutch will give in for 3K miles when turboed... IT SUCKS DAMN BAD CHANGE IT ASAP! (actually change it before you turbo, since it might be harder to get into.)
I even made it go to normal state (which I hate) with only 1500miles on a totally stock engine it, so I changed to a competition sprung stage 4 clutch!

It all depends on how you drive. If you have under 300 WHP a stage 3 will do just fine. The stock clutch will eventually give out over time. I would add it to your to do list when you get a turbo. and its not going to be harder or easier to change when its turboed.

yea mostly depends on how you drive, clutch wears easily if you always have aggressive engagement. Even without turbo if you're always stepping on it, aggressive driving your clutch wont last long..

Hey man, it really just depends on how u drive man. I have 90000 miles on my stock clutch with turbo and still doing fine. i have a street-strip act clutch and fidanza flywheel, but just waiting for my clutch to really give out. I am still pulling strong and scratching third gear. For those whose clutch gives out after 55000 miles, you must be riding your clutch pretty bad. it should be fine until you get your new clutch. trust me, im still pulling cars with my stock clutch man!

I changed my clutch to stage 4 at around 800-900 miles ODO.
It feels better than the OE clutch when it was new. and it always grips/bites perfectly... I can have an aggressive shift or smooth A/T like engages that is like 3X better than OEM. Although it feels like my buddy's old 85 Toyota truck off-road clutch. (It CAN hurt your legs on bad traffic jams)
