turboed need new clutch?!?!?!
witch clutch would u recommend. i put a stage two in from f1 racing guess how long that lasted only. 4 months. i am at 300 now but when i get my new injectors ill be at 350 so i need to know what would be a good clutch to put in and flywheel i guess. i did replace it last time with a f1 racing light weight flywheel. but im guessing it sucks too.

id suggest goin with either an act, exedy or clutchmasters clutch. all are proven quality. which ever one you go with , make sure you use an oem throw out bearing. ive heard bad things about the act bearing, not too sure about the other 2, but why take the chance since the trannys in our cars arent that easy to remove and replace. let me rephrase that, it is fairly easy to do its more of a pita than anything. especially if u dont have a lift readily available.

Nothing wrong with the flywheel - personally Id go with an ACT clutch. Im running the 6 puck sprung with xxtreme pressure plate and had 0 slipping issues at 26-28 psi on E85 (prob in the 550+ range). It did seem to slip once after driving for 4+ hours in the 100*+ heat than getting on it, but hell that was a pretty extreme condition lol. For 300-350whp, you could prob get away with the street disc and hd pressure plate.

I've been running the Centerforce DFX for about a week now. The construction looks very nice. The pedal feel is like stock. It is rated for 440 ft lbs . The issue I have with ACT is the xtreme pressure plate. I was suspecting that it was pushing to hard on my crank but did not know until I tore down the motor and saw the damage. My thrust bearing/shim had evidence of major wear. I think if we need more clamping force we need to step up to twin disc or this damage will happen.
