Default random misfire

yes, same here. i installed the kit 3 weeks ago. ECL came on,and the codes read

P 0172 System too rich (Bank 1)
P 0300 Random misfire
P 0301
P 0302
P 0303
P 0304 301-304 Misfire cylinder #1to #4

Changed new plugs to BKR7EIX-11 ,gapped .044 or didnt gapped still having the same problem.

Looks like you might have messed up when you spliced the injecter wires. I would double check those first.

If it's installed correctly, there will be no problems. Every problem so far has been install error everytime

I agree...check the injector woring and check the coil pack connections...

You need to bolt this on asap. Keep drillin. My bracket did not line up but I drilled it out and bolted it on.

Otherwise my kit runs great.

My car also read all those misfire codes 300-305 and 171...i found out that one of my intercooling pipes came loose and i wasnt getting enough air. I reconnected it and now the OBD is only reading 171 and 300...I saw that some one said code 171( too rich) is supposed to be normal on the kit for safety reasons, but what about code 300(random missfire)? any one have any ideas?

Please make sure your BOV fitting is connected to the correct spot as well. This seems to be a common trip up during installation/
