Yeah I looked it up... Its still very interesting to me that they use BAR to measure vacuum. Bar is almost exclusively used to measure postive pressure. Interesting design. I'd prefer to see my gauge reading in/mg as that is the industry standard but different is good to I guess...:D

Our Defi gauges read in BAR for Boost as well as for Vaccum

Which ones. All the Defi gauges I've seen read bar for boost and in/hg for vacuum.

yes you are correct. I should have edited my post. The Defi gauges I have seen come in either in/hg or kPa for vacuum.

Too many mesaurements to keep up with. I wish everyone just did in/mg for vacuum. I don't like reading Kaopectats (I know its really Kilopascals)

just took a drive to the store, and took notice of the boost gauge. When I'm cruising in vac, and I let off the gas and allow the car to coast while in gear still, it would read 0.8. Now, if I'm stopped at the light, and at rest, it will read right in between 0.6 and 0.8.

there you go mines looks like that, but i have the red version and reads at PSI, not BAR. I looked around and went to 3 auto store, non have AEM UEGO gauges. So i ordered on Ebay, its coming.

I checked for boost leaks, jacked the car up and retightened everything. vacuum hoses are where they're supposed to be. I even took out both O2 sensors to check, theyre both covered with carbon, so i wiped them down, put it back on. Now, when i drove the car home for about 15 min. of driving, CEL didnt come on. I noticed the RPM jumps up and down (700-1000 RPM), but when engine is hot its steady at 700. Car still backfires even when CEL is not on. Ill drive longer tomorrow, see what happens.
