hmmm.....odd trying to figure out how you got the bottom grille to fit. I tried to fit the grille on but the intercooler was really tight against the bumper. I thought that everything was off a little so I tried messing around with the pipes slightly to get room for it but that was a no go.

 

Not sure.. it's a smug fit, but it's not too tight of a fit.

 

i think you both should come to the meet tonight ...

 

my car is out of commision until the new tranny comes in.. then it will be out of commision for an extra week getting the internals done

Can you post some videos of the car? I am realy curious to hear the car with the stock exhaust at idle and when under boost. I am getting the same kit, but i just want to get an electronic exhaust cutout for when i need a few extra HP and a little sound. I would like to keep the exaust quiet. I had a supercharged focus that got me more tickets than i wanted in broward county. Thanks Steve

 

I don't have any means of recording a video..but I can tell you that the car sounds TOTALLY stock. Only when you're getting into boost will you hear the turbo whine.. and it sounds really good. The BOV sounds like a whoosh and its very audible even though it's recirculated. I surprised an SRT-4 the other day on the highway.. he was coming up fast and I decided to get to his pace... as he was about to pass me he had to switch lanes because there was a car in his lane - and as he passed that car he was looking at his side view mirror looking for me. He couldn't see me so he stuck his head out the window looking back.. and then he looked to his side and I was there next to him 3 lanes over.. he was really surprised.. lol.

i really wish they had a 07-09 kit out, i would definitely get one if they did. i assume that your still running on the unichip tune? if so how is that working for ya?

 

Yes they do - indirectly from Turbo-Kits.com - they have a different MAF adapter to accommodate the '07-'09 MAF and instead of the Unichip, they use the AEM F/IC.

The Unichip runs smoothly.. it's super conservative and drives like stock. The down side is that because it's so conservative, lots more power is still hidden.

 

we needto run it when you get yours tune. have you done anything since we talked on the phone? have you contacted lujan motorsports? i wanna raise the boost and all but my clutch is starting to slip. so i am gonna wait till my clutch goes then i will raise the boost with a stage 4 clutch.
