why do some of the tubonetics TURBOS have the orange housing, and some have the silver housing like mine????????????

 

I assume you mean the backplate? Only the backplate is a different color then the housing. Unless for some reason you got one that wasn't anodized. It just indicates what size shaft is used in the turbo. Orange backplate means big shaft.
