Default TURBONETICS/ZPI/DEZOD turbo kit times???

being that more and more people are getting turbo kits now is their anybody going to the drag strips and running their cars? The only times I've seen posted are times given by the actual vendor who is selling the turbo kit. I figure with zpi stage1/dezod stage 1/turbonetics kit all should be getting tC into the mid/high 13s on reg tires and low 13/high 12s with slicks/drag radials.

Mostly winter time issues around here, but I would expect to see more and more track runs as they open back up.

80* and nice here in FL. My problem is I can't decide dezod, custom, or turbonetics. As soon as I decide I will be heading to the track.

ZPI's Stage 1 runs were mid to low 12's on slicks/drag radials. The boost was turned up a little, probably like 2-3psi's higher than what comes out of the box.

Would love to see some track times of the different turbo kits. I know Joe @ Dezod ran a 13.8 1/4 mile with the Dezod kit, which is pretty respectable. Not sure if he was running 8 psi or 11 pis though, maybe he'll chime in with some more details.

My boost kicks off in about 3wks. Will find an open track from there, and lay down some rubber.

CRAP...NOT AGAIN!! I posted under my g/f name AGAIN! Sorry guys, that was me...heehee. But yeah, I wish we could have made the dealine for the April 8th Scion ShootOut to be boosted. But not enough time available. So, we will be running in the All-motor class. Probably the slowest All-motor tC out, cause all we have is the ZPI S-pipe + Exhaust w/Blitz Nur Spec attached. I also have some drag radials, but I'm sure some other people will as well. Oh well, maybe we can get second or 3rd best times down the 1320.

We are going to be racing this weekend as well, at one of our local tracks. Just a short track though, only 0-60 are possible before you run out of track. The rest of it is Oval (it's a stock car track).

Joe ran it on 8PSI with BAD traction on drag radials inflated to 30 PSI.

We ran 12.12@114 on 13-14 psi on a other than that stock stage 1 kit.

We have ran 12.4@119 on a stage 1 but with a 32r at 9.5psi

Thanks for chiming in Paul, I wasn't sure exactly what the details were.

I'm sure this is answerd somewhere on here but is there any other power mods done to your turbo tCs like p&p head (I know you have the exhaust)? If not why and will you? If so what's done?

Those are the times with a stock engine. I think it also might have had the crank pulley and a better clutch on it. Not sure, but I do know it was with a stock engine.

Yeah on my run that was the FIRST race on the tC with a turbo kit. So i spun like hell for the first couple gears. I also had the catalytic converter, recirculated wastegate, and ran it nice and rich. That was probably the slowest it's evern been. It was more of a test run to see what it would do before we started adding or changing things to the kit.

The new run I'm expecting low low 13s, high 12s with a 20 speaker sound system, full body kit, and 18s. Gotta love show/race setups haha...

I think ZPI may have those low 12sec passes without any exhaust. I have the videos of them making those runs with a full open exhaust from the downpipe. Not 100% sure on that though, they may have raced again with an exhaust attached to it.
