Which car is gutted? I saw in the gallery when you were installing the cage, did you keep it gutted?

That would be the Flint Mica one. Not sure if it was gutted at the time of the 12.1 though.

I looked again, your right. Wonder how much total weight was saved by taking everything out.

^^There is no telling. One day, our tC will no longer be a daily driver, and will be gutted like that. Our tC is semi-lighter due to no rear seats and CF front, which helped us be the 2nd fastest N/A tC at the Scion ShootOut, and all we had was an exhaust system, up against other guys with I/H/E...etc.

Full interior, stereo, etc for the 12.1 pass. No videos of it have been posted since it's been gutted.

I believe the final count was 330lbs, or thereabouts. Of course, I don't know how much weight the cage added.. probably not 330lbs, but a bit.

Of course, the idea is to have the car stock appearing, so it'll have full interior again, just a lighter full interior.

We've got a couple in the field. In fact, that exact turbo from the silver car is now dominating the streets of some city under the hood of a black tC. He liked it so much, Kenny sold it to him when we got the current turbo on the silver car.

I believe the only thing you have to worry about when boosting up the PSI is the motor itself, nothing to do with the turbo components.

The Turbonetics is actually better for higher PSI I believe.

Yea, their 50trim is crying for more boost. On 12psi the Turbonetics netted 350whp.

Then I guess my question is... How much boost can the VVTI engine in the tC handle?

Where was that info posted. I missed a F/I thread or something?

That dosen't make any sense. Why would you not advertise that on the board? I'm sure they would pick up even more sales if they posted that up.

It was their test car, Its not ideal for reliability... Call up Tyler and ask the #'s the Turbonetics kit can achieve. He will be glad to tell you.

According to MIA the kit comes with everything you need for over 400whp. Just add internals and then retune.

What difference does that make...Advertising is Advertising. The Flint Mica car ZPI has is not ideal for reliability anymore either, but I bet that won't stop them from posting vids of it rippin down the 1320 and breaking into the 11's. It's good for company image you know what I mean?
