im taking a shot in the dark but you probably dont have alot of experience riding, and even if you do, alot of people on the road have NO concern for bikes, i have gotten thrown off by wreckless drivers who pay no attention and are too busy texting or eating a burger to watch the road.

im not trying to put you down on it in any way but it takes alot more then the basic concept of riding, its like looking over your shoulder all the time waiting for someone to f up/

turbo cars are fun, endless fun, safe too.
its ultimately your decision though both are hella fun i gotta admit.

thanks ill keep that in mind bro they both r hella bad though

if not then i recommend you taking a msf course and buying a ninja 250 and ride that for a few seasons, then upgrade to a bigger bike. And always wear your gear. ie, helmet jacket riding pants and boots gloves too.

Bike are fun I know i own a gsxr600 and 07 yamaha r6, But im selling them so i can build on the tc.

Over all we can't make that choice for you.

But I recommend you going the turbo route if your not willing to take the time to learn about the bikes.

I have been riding for 4 years now, I still consider myself being a noob. just my 2 cents.

i just ride my cuzins bike cbr 1000 wen i get the chance but im stil a beginner on that its hella fun ridin though on that beast thats wut i want a r6 those things r sweet specialy the year u got..=]

one good thing about living in california and motorcycles is that you can drive in between traffic if it's going less than 15 mph

Yup, was gonna say the same thing. If you're in Cali, get the bike. Plus, turbo the car and you'll be doing removal for inspection, chance of getting pulled over and ticketed, etc.

I did two years on a 400 and am now looking to move up. Personally, I like the more upright riding position because I do commuting so I was looking at the Kawasaki ER-6n or Versys instead of a Ninja, CBR or GSXR. I need to check with insurance as well but they may be a lower rate too if they don't class them as sportbikes. My fallback was the SV650 but I don't like the look quite as much.

Look for the torque curve, you'll want a wide powerband for easier driveability. I think the sportbikes are a PITA because the power isn't linear and clutch feathering in traffic is no fun.

I'm in Maryland. My bike insurance was $100 a year, the local community college offered a motorcycle safety foundation approved rider course, and best of all if you pass the course test you don't take one at the DMV. Total registration was around $42 I think. Cali is probably a bit more expensive, but then I'm not allowed to ride the line between lanes in gridlock either. Of course, not sure how legal my bike will stay. Not touching the 400 but also have a '78 GS750 that I really want to put a draw-through GT1241 on. Carbs are mechanical so response is phenominal, early plan is to make it a drag bike.

if you're in cali i would go with the bike. thats the only reason why i chose SC over turbo, cuz of smog here.

I ride a 1981 Honda CM400, old age + small motor+ not a sportbike = cheap insurance. If you want cheap insurance, don't get a pocket rocket. On base, they even make you take an extra course if you have a sport bike.

GSXR 600

Had an 07 Kawasaki ninja 600 myself. LOTS of fun, but it's also a good thing to be scared of it too. Keeps you from doing really stupid stuff. Never did wheelie's but did do 150 one good time, haha.

Bike:
Pros- Fast, fun, thrill to ride, a blast to ride with friends, cheap insurance ($15-$20/month), cheap to modify
Cons- dangerous, no fun in the rain, no fun in the cold, no fun in EXTREME heat, riding gear is EXPENSIVE if you buy the proper stuff, vulnerable to theft

Turbo:
Pros- OBVIOUS
Cons- Inspection/SMOG, nosey cops

Tough decision.

Also with turbo your reliability will not be the same

I dont know anyone that has been 100% problem free after going turbo. Oil leaks here, coupler pop off there, you know small stuff but it does get annoying.

I only have liability on my 600rr and i pay $110 a year. I put it as a pleasure vehicle and not a commuter.

For full coverage they wanted $2350 a year! I bought the bike for $3500 so If I go 2 years w/o it getting stolen im good haha

You could buy a bike AND turbo it.

http://www.mrturbo.com/

http://www.muzzys.com/ZX10/ZX10_Turbo/index.html

500 HP on a ZX-10. Yeah, I think it will take a tC, even Chris Rado's.
