Ok very cool. It looks as though they only test through the OBDII Port....So now here's the question. Does the dezod kit or the Greddy kit throw a cel?

i have a buddy who did a custom setup on a nissan and he passed emissions here in Illinois by just putting in the stock injectors, leaving the WG wide open so no boost kicks in, and he had already designed his manifold back exhaust to have a test pipe. He pulled the test pipe out, put in a cat and took it to emissions. He passed on the first run. Here in Illinois they do the dyno test and OBD scan.
His car however, is OBD I not OBD II. But like Paul siad, if ur engine check light isn't on, then you have nothing to worry about. You can just do lik emy buddy and pop in stock injectors and leave the WG open.

# On Board Diagnostics: The newest test to be used in Arizona is the on-board diagnostic test. Used on 1996 and newer light duty vehicles only, engine operating data is accessed by connecting directly to a computer in the vehicle that continuously monitors engine emission control systems operation. The on-board diagnostic test can identify problems before they lead to engine damage and emissions system failure.
