got your PM...I'll try to remember to send you the maps tonight.

a turbo has 2 halvs to it, and the inlet and outlet have to be in certain directions to mate up with the pipeing for a particular tubo kit. "Clocking" the turbo simply means you loosen the bolts holding the 2 halvs together, twist them so the inlet/outlet match up with the pipes and then you tighten them down.

Phresh,

clocking the turbine is a piece of cake. If I do the install with you, it will be done right!

Is there any advantages in doing this?

advantage? Um, if you don't, the pipes wont fit, so I guess the advantage is a turbo kit that actually works!
But Todd posted up in anothe thread, i think, and he says he usually has the turbo clocked correctly when he shipps them out.

Hey phresh...I can't remember if it was you or someone else, but did I email you the maps?

Hey guys, I should get my kit mid week next week. I will post pictures for you guys.

Meaty, are you using prpnum1's tuned map to get everyone up and running or do you have a richer base map? Derek (prpnum1) lives around the corner from me and I was wondering if you have anything richer that I can load prior to getting tuned. Shoot me a pm!

Well, very excited.... i'll create my own thread soon. Thanks guys.

Shout out to TODD!!!

The base maps Phil sent you will have the car running under normal conditions. If you mash on the throttle and go into high amounts of boost, you will probably not be in the best AFR zones.

so, if you can't get it tuned for a little while, try to not boost it hard.

it's okay since the forums are really here to help one another with questions. Not everyone is a master mechanic who knows everything.

Now you will get some roided out punk kids on here who think they are god's gift to cars, and women, but they actually know less then they think....and like to take pictures of themselves flexing in a mirror. Please do not associate yourself with said "punk kids" and you will be good to go on here!!!

Phil knows of what I talk about

Scott, jax's curse of posting that you have a turbo tc and making your own thread prior to the install. The scionlife curse will make your install go terrible (broken bolts, leaks, missing parts, engine management malfunction) LOL!!!! Than you look dumb for 2 months and a thread 10 pages long and your still not up and running. HAHA BAD BAD CURSE!!!! Stay away from me!

Phresh - yeah man I know where your at, im think im more anxious than I ever have been in my life. =) I have two tuners lined up (dont know which to use) and cash ready!
