I got my injectors and gauge pod last night.
My gauges should be here today.
My kit, I'm guessing another 2 weeks cause Todd said he was in the middle of a build now. I think at most would be 3 weeks. That sound about right, Todd?

brett,
be sure to post up when you get it in.
I'm leaning towards the aem as well.
probably not till the end of the year, but looking at prices right now.

Lots of stuff going on, some things you'll see rather soon as some of these guys will have there stuff here shortly

As far as users with Hydra/AEM, only have couple with AEM + more will be using it. No one is using Hydra at the moment. But you can't go wrong with either one. I have not used either one yet personally but I will be running the AEM on my TC.

Todd

Todd,
I noticed your stage 2GT kit you say is intended for "semi-built" engines. What are you refering to? What would I have to do to my engine for it to be considered "semi-built"?

Todd,
I noticed your stage 2GT kit you say is intended for "semi-built" engines. What are you refering to? What would I have to do to my engine for it to be considered "semi-built"?

I think I need to re-word that sentence. What its stating that the kit will support over 480whp on a semi-built(rods/pistons) motor.

You do not need a built motor to run this kit. But to take full advantage of the kit it is recommended to have a built motor.(bare minimum rods/pistons)

Hope that helps.

Regards-

Todd

Oh, I didn't think you meant you NEEDED a built motor to run the kit. I think it's worded fine, that you need a built motor to run it to it's full potential, which is the 480 you have listed.

I just wanted to know if I could get away with just rods and pistons, which you say I can, so that's perfect.
Thanks.

apart from zpi, who has these "rods and pistons"

what i mean is; when you made these kits and put them on built or semi built motors, where did the owners get their internals from?

http://www.raceeng.com/c-44-sport-compact.aspx

this is where zpi gets there stuff.

its also alot cheaper. i ordered pistions, rods, rod bearings, and main bearings from zpi for $1,600.(thats with a hundred dollar discount) when i got my package dropshiped from race, the invoice to zpi was only $1,100. so basicly i paid $500 to zpi for them to place an order.

Depending on where you get your motor work done, you usually can get you interals from them as well.

All my motors are done by ERL Performance, and besides the sleeving/machining services they also supply the rods, pistons, bearings and assembly services.

I will be releasing engine packages here shortly......just another option for those who are looking for that "little" extra.

Todd
