That's what I thought... looking forward to the outcome. I just wish he brought it to a tuner that knew the AEM.

Did you get the stage 1 GT or the regular stage 1 with the bushing turbo? And what size turbo did you go with?
i just went regular stage 1: Garrett T3/TO4E Turbocharger 57trim .63ar... i considered a ball-bearing turbo but after thinking about my budget and the actual difference, i realized that i'm not too worried about turbo lag.. i'm sure it'll be satisfying enough once i get a turbo-back exhaust and a good tune. yay for being the 2nd on SL with the stage 1!!!... i think?

lag is not something be woried about with our 2.4ltr. i have a t3 60-1. at 3350 rpms its already at 5 psi. at 4400 rpms its at 19 psi. because it actually lets the tires catch the road, it launches my car like a land missile. in fact the only time spool time ever had an adverse effect on my car was when i was rockin a 16g. it really gave the car a hair trigger, and it was a b1tch getting the tires to stick. with the turbo i have now, its a nite and day difference. also its easier not to partial throttle boost.

DEAR SWEET GOD! haha that must be one heck of a kick when all that boost kicks in. the point about traction is a good one, and i never really thought of it before. very true, though.

Update:
not done yet. today was the first day they actually started the car!!!
OK, thursday, i dropped off the car, and they were finishing up some other to make room for mine. They started the gauges.
Friday, they finished the gauges and did the injectors, along with some other wireing. He was out of town all weekend.
Today, they had to redo the oil pan cause it was leaking, so that took most of the day, but he said I should have it back today.
Apperently, the F/IC took a little more work then he intended. I sent it to him wiht the base map I got from garabaldy, so I hope that didn't screw him up!
I have the utmost confidence in my tuner, so I am farily certain I will have the car back tomorrow, with numbers.

I just emailed him the base map for the AEM F/IC. I thought I had loaded it already, but I guess not.
Shouldn't be much longer now that he has a starting point.

Yeah my car is running currently with the emanage and 550 injectors on it but is in need of some serious tuning....it took four tries for me to get the car started after I put them both on.

Wait, you already had the turbo toyotas kit on? Or your getting it tomorrow? What do you have on your car right now that requires the emanage?

Kits not installed yet, but he already installed the injectors and emanage. Stock car runs like %&^# with larger injectors and the emanage without any tuning.

Hows your coming along?

Well, it's running. Now it's all up to Sue's tuning skills.
I'm going to call in a minute for an update.
