OK, looks like I'll have my car tonight, but not till 9 or so. He siad they do their dyno runs at the end of the day cause it makes the shop stinky
But he did say after it's done he'll either come pick me up or drop the car off to me as the shop is about 15mins from my house!!!
So, if all goes well, I'll be boosting all over town and won't get around to posting anything again till this weekend!!!
Yeah, right! You all know I'll be up at midnight with a new thread with pics, dynos and impressions! wish me luck!

Well, it looks I will be getting my car back tonight after all.
The problem was NOT with the AEM F/IC, or even my car. Someone broke the breake board on his dyno and he was running around all last night and today and finally got ahold of DynoJet and bought a new break board for $350!
Cany anyone say "Scion Life Curse!!!"

I was just hyped up cause my friend called and was at the shop, and he said the thing was running good and sounded mean.
My big issue is my wife is started to get really ____ed at how much time it's taking, and she's sick of having to drive me to work every day!
Oh well. It will all be worth it in the end.

Got a call tonight. Not done yet. He's having some issues with the AEM Truboost not holding where he set's it. He's going to contact AEM tomorrow to see if there is something he missed. But it seems like things are really moving along now. He doesn't feel safe pushing 10psi on the stock fuel pump, cause he isn't to familiar with it, but he's estimating that to bee in the 400whp range.
I told him I was just shooting for 300-350 for now, so we are going to set the boost controller to 4psi and 8psi.
We'll see where that gets us tomorrow.

My wife is staying home and letting me drive her car to work tomorrow, so I'm sure that's when he'll say to pick up my car!!!

But he is going to give me a good deal on the work he's doing, because I'm helping him get his foot into the tC community, and he seems to think I'm pretty active in it. Don't know where he'd get that idea!

I dont think itll be 400whp but you should see 350 without a problem

well, there was a message on my cell at 6:00 this morning.
They couldn't get it on the dyno, so the tuned it on the street, and he said it's running like a champ! and now he's going to sleep! Talk about dedication!
So TODAY IS THE DAY! He's going to throw it on the dyno to pull some numbers for me at 5psi and 8psi. I'll either pick it up after work or later this evening. I will post up accordingly.

depending on the type of dyno, i think you'll come in at just under, or right at 300whp, at 8psi with that 57trim. which by the way is going to rock your world. say goodbye to your clutch for me phil.

LOL!
Yup, that's right what I'm shooting for at first.
Now I have to decide if my next purchase is going to be tires or a clutch!

Is it still raining there in FLA? When are you going to try to hit the track again? I'm going to try to go on Saturday, but that will be my first time, so don't expect me to post any numbers!
