But once again it all depends on how SAFE you wish to be. I have made 1088 rwht and 968 rwhp on a corvette that was safe. could we have got more out of it being crazy? yes but it is once again what you want to do. The Scion TC does respond better if you unplug the primary O2 (pre Cat) but that is a fix for a long term problem. i may be wrong but i am also a little intoxicated to but what do i know.

I didn't mean to say best power, I meant to say best torque... 12.7 is supposedly perfect for forced induced cars (although that is not safe on ours) My reference for that 11.5 a/f number is in the book "how to tune and modify engine management systems", in the beginning of the book and I didn't say that was always the case, I just read this in that book... I haven't heard the unplug fix, but sounds like it would work.
im running 12.0-12.2 at wot. its all a ballance on what the threshold of you engine is. if you have stock internals then 11.5 is where you need to be. unless you wanna pull timing, or add water/meth.

If they did well in a few months without blowing your tCs engine, I'll get a tune here in Vegas with the Dezod Custom BB and pretuned ECU or a WHY GT Stage1...
sue at prostreet seemed to do a pretty good job with meatys car. doing tons of research and question asking and not just guessing.
if i end up getting mine tuned by him, then he will have 2 tC's under his belt

As a matter of fact, as soon as I popped the hood, Sue was like "WHOA! Who made that manifold? Full Rac?" And he wanted Todds number to talk about getting some manifolds made cause Sue's shop does full custom turbos, but they have to buy premade manifolds and work around them. So yeah, I already told todd about that!
The 14s at partial, I know is no big deal, but if I didnt' care about it, I would have gotten the greddy blue instead of the AEM F/IC. But it will get worked out. It is currenlty running great.
The Turbo Toyota's kit does not come with any management, but even if it did, I don't think it has a base map. However, Dezod has a base map for the blue AND one for the ultimate on their site that should hold you over for a bit here:
http://www.dezod.com/tech_notes.cfm
If sue does you kit, I'm sure he will do a great job, cause he was completely dedicated to doing mine. And we are still tweaking it as things come up. He'll do you right, matt.

I meant to say stock internals on the tC... your statement is a lot better than mine lol but that is what I was going for...

My kits do not come with the fuel management to begin with.

Second, a base map isn't going to do you any good anyways.

Your car will run with the emange pluggd in and you can "trace" what the stock ecu is doing from there. So there is your base map.(any good tuner will know this)

The "base map" is a myth as far as I am concerned.

Besides if I supply my customers with a tune, its going to be from here in AZ(fricken hot so my tunes are really conservative), and most of what I have, your tuner is going to need to change anyways. Just more time for him to charge you for.

Hope that helps.

Regards-

Todd

^^^ Hey Todd, Does the GT Stage1 kit work with the 07 tC MT?

Thanks! (I just love how those "tentacles" look under the hood, makes me wanna add high heat plexiglass to show the look!) : D

Yes, all my kits fit all of the years the TC was made.

The only difference is the size of the MAF and the flange it mounts too

Todd

Thanks! Not sure. He has the temp down in the file, so I'm assuming this is what it was putting down at that temp.
Now I just gotta get him some more tCs to work with so we can up the boost.
He had it putting down 330 or so at 8psi, but there was a big drop at 4krpm, so he didn't want me driving around like that.

330 @ 8psi is insane. either that dyno is off, or the guy didnt pull any timing and ran lean as hell, and by the grace of good, didnt blow your motor. make sure he pulls timing!!! how is your stock clutch able to hold up? i have a stage 4 and its toast. after making that much power, your clutch must be ready to explode.

Change the clutch ASAP, you never know when it will totally incinerate/explode. (maybe if your racing a sissy B18 Turbo and suddenly on 3rd gear it snapped to pieces and the Honda guy laughed his ___ out winning...)
