no offense phil, but if you didnt bolt on your turbo-kit. then mabey you dont wanna try and pull you're clutch. besides you have to get your flywheel re-surfaced anyway. might as well just let a shop do it.

None taken. The only reason I didnt' do my turbo install is cause Todd came down to do it! I was going to have a shop tap the oil pan, but Todd said the kit install should be at the same time to make sure the tap is in the right spot to make the dump tube fit, so he brought down a pretapped pan.

I've installed my own springs, Koni shocks, engine mount, front and rear sway, etc. so I didnt' think the clutch would be to bad, but that's why I wanted to see a DYI...so I know what to expect.

But how much do you think it would cost to get the flywheel resurfaced? Cause my tuner said they would install the clutch for a couple hundred. That may end up being a better deal.

anything under $500 is a real good deal for a clutch install. basicly you take off the wheels, axles, starter, drain the gear oil, unbolt the tranny, and have at the clutch.

Yeah it was just them hanging out while someone installed the clutch. Would have been awesome if it was a step by step.

When you saw me at the meet with the kit installed and no gauges, I had no managment and stock injectors in. Just don't rev past like 5K.
If you have 440cc injectors, you should be alright. With 550cc or higher injectors, you will need managment, but you have the Greddy blue, so you can download the DEZOD base map and it should hold you over for a week or so.
When does your kit come in? Were you planning on intstalling the kit and then driving all they way to Arizona for
Todd's tuner? Or were you going to take it to Sue at ProStreet?

Another option, Garabaldy said his tuner, Tobi at TC Performance in Colorado, would be willing to fly down and tune my car and anyone elses if we cover expenses. And he's done tCs before, even the AEM F/IC in my car.
Maybe we can get Chris and Mark to chip in and we can all get tuned together?
I can cover air fair if you guys come up with the rest. What do you think?

Sounds good. I'll contact him and give him some details. You talk to chris and mark and see if their down.

OH, and I posted a thread with a couple pics of my kit:
