Yours will be open dump for sure.
And a good tune with no CEL should get you past smog, as long as there is no visual inspection.

if you are running a piggyback I am told that ( at least in VA) that they will hook upo to the computer. Since that is being lied to by the piggyback then it thinks everything is ok. Plus unless I am mistaken even if they do run it to check for emissions the wastgate will not open at idle.

yup true, the piggyback and our ecu will arguinging lol.. yup wastegate will not open at idle, it only opens when you already achieved the desired boost so you wont overspin the turbo than what it was set, basically wastegate throws away excess exhaust to prevent overboost

I dont' see how they would even know you have a piggy back...mine is tucked behind the glove box. and besides...it's not like they smog guys have a usb port on thier checking machines!

Plus...the piggyback is not makeing the ecu lie, it is giving it correct numbers at throttle. during idle, it should be as good as stock. I mean, you could install a piggy back to give yourelfe better gas mileage or something like that and it would not be illegal or throw emmisions.

I am still missing stuff. I have given up and started buying localy, I trully hope I will get some $$ off at the end of this. Some of the clamps did not fit and had hose missing and a bunch of other stuff. minor things but my impression was it was 100% bolt on , I did not know the bolts were not included

i wonder why todd takes so long, is it because these kits are all custom?

and why hasn't he been on SL!

Poop I hope everything fits well with mine, and hope it doesnt continue or else its gonna be bad for peakboost, ya know business could go down when more complaints comes, worst if unsolved.

I dont know if todd has total control of how the kits were made since he is under peakboost now. Maybe it has something to do with who makes the manifold, pipings and etc. I didnt know it would take this long either but long does it usually take to get the kit, I ordered Sept 14, mine will be shipped next week which will make it 2 months but Im still cool with the wait.. as long as my kit will fit fine. Some guys couldnt wait this long though.
