i have 3 permacool fans, but its the combination mishimoto radiator that did huge difference.. the ones from todd are fine though just add a 3rd fan and a thicker radiator w/ low temp thermostat and its gonna be great, you wont get heatsoaked or lose your ac.. just drove the car on 103F weather for like a day and i never overheated like before and thats with a bad exhaust leak blowing exhaust on the rad lol

gl on the polish, just be sure to use a clear engine enamel afterwards otherwise it will oxidize in a week or so. I found that the valve cover reacts with water and can make pits in it, its ok to wet sand though as long as you dont let moisture stand on it for a day or two.

the steps i took to do mine went like this

1. 400 grit (to even out the surface and flaten some slight bumps and pits)
2. 600 grit
3. 2000 grit
4. turtle wax brand rubbing compound applied 2 times(terry cloth on, micro fiber off)
5. turtle wax polishing compound (micro fiber)
6. clear engine enamel (havnt done it yet but will when i get time and gasket)

yeah its the same brand that everyone carries (auto zone, napa, car quest, ect)

oh ps i would suggest on the 2000 grit to wet sand with it and be gentle since its the last major sanding, it will make the polishing go alot smoother.

maybe its just me but the clear that i used isnt even holding up on the engine cover i made, its ____ing me off something bad. its turning a very light yellow to yellow brown (not quit golden) color.

i agree with ya but its got to be coated with something....i still wonder if i just got a bad can of engine enamel...because iv used the clear b4 on a valve cover and it did great without any discoloring.
