yeah but the dezod uses the other hanger on the driver's side rear the tsudo doesnt that's why no matter how long the hanger is still hit the bumper unless there is a support that keeps it from moving.. the support is welded straight from the car and with little movements after sometime the weld would become weak

So finally got the scan gauge in, first of all its awesome.. absolutely a great buy, thanks to 365motorwerks! Then I got my these codes

P0303- Cylinder #3 misfire
P0171- System too lean (bank 1)
P0302- Cylinder #2 misfire
P0000- ?? didnt find it but after a search is Powerstroke with no power?
I just found the meanings through google but all codes should be universal right?
The scan gauge said 5 codes detected but it only showed 4, does it mean one of the code prolly happened twice?

you guys have thrown these codes before?

nope not yet tuned.. these are the second set of codes from the install using a map to get it running, the first set was cleared without being checked but that should be way more crazy (running emanage without a map haha)

if it said 5 and only showed 4 that means since the last time you started your car the ECU or the what not has since corrected the issue.. not sure about the mis firing but i got that lean fuel back 1 code p0171 before i wasnt tuned and havent gotten it since.. the only one i get occasionally is p0101, MAF performance.. nothing major.. i just clear it..

so that means of the 5 code i had? 4 hasnt been corrected? If you disconnect the battery, old codes will not be retrieved right?

anyone had misfire?

i've had all those codes before. all went away after a different map, but I thought my misfires were from fouled pluggs.

If you had a repeating code, it would come up twice. not sure about the readign 5 and showing 4, but if you clear all codes and then clear them again with the scangauge, it should actually clear all of them so you can start from scratch.

Ace, I'm hoping you arent running too much untuned. I was misfiring as well and it caused my blown motor. Untuned=BAD!!!! Dont go into boost at all until you have a tune on your car. I'm just warning you man. I dont want you to have to go through what I'm going through right now. Sucks being without a car. I am driving around an RX-8 right now though. Once I get my car back it should rip though. Pistons, rods, bearings, and probably sleeved. Then I'll be building my head over the summer and then I'll have a quick lil car. LOL. Good luck man. Looks great so far though.

my cylinders were misfiring. AFR was good the whole time too. After draining the fluids it seems that from the spark plug hole you can see the crankshaft if #1 cylinder. So apparently the misfiring wore down my piston and no the piston and rod are both gone. shattered. Fun stuff man. Hope you dont have the same issues. Again, good luck man. Avoid driving much. And dont build boost at all. Because that what I did. I built boost just a few times and then boom.

are you misfiring a lot? im daily driving my car and im gonna see if im gonna see more of the codes i had first time i checked it but so far its only P0171 that came back. My tuner is like 6-7hrs away from here so I at least should run a decent map on the way. I hope nothing bad is gonna happen to mine though. If codes keep coming then im gonna have to find a fix on that first before i can tune. And which map are you using?
