Default Twincharge?

I know I ask alot of questions, and I know there is a setup out there but could a different kind of supercharge be fitted on the TC?

Vortex are nice but they spool rather slowly

If the supercharger is good for 300hp with 3" exhaust, why couldn't someone just limit the supercharger to the stock 7psi pulley and put a nice turbo on there?

Talk about no lag! And the supercharge wont even have to be pushed that hard. A 300whp setup would be amazing since in this case power WOULD be able to be put down to the ground especially with the new TRD LSD ($1,500 LOL) on the scion website.

Keep a nice 2..5 or 2.75 exhaust and the sound would be sweet haha.

weeeeeeee, psssssssssss, pshhh!, weeeeee, psssss, pshhh!

lol

Now if this is feasable I might just sell the XA and get a TC.

lmao u and searching aren't friends huh? lol its been done a twin chargeTC, btw a SC can NOT handle 300hp. there's not anyone (I think icenine is the only one) who's at 300 hp with a SC. the twin charge has been done though and its not really great for a 4 banger like the tc.

It's been done. It was a complete failure. It ran like total garbage and it made barely any power.

And the S/C is NOT good for 300HP with a 3" exhaust. Only one person has hit 300 with the S/C, and he hit it because the shop used a correction factor on the dyno.

I wasnt talking about the stupid TRD supercharger, thats maor like an intake turbo LOL.

I am talking about a roots type supercharger.

Alot of AW11 guys have done it with great results. perfectly flat 230rwhp and torque. I when I say flat I mean dosnt matter what RPM u are at above 2,500 cuz its the same amount of power non stop.

Maybe im jsut retarded and I dont realize I have a great car rusting away in a barn in michigan lol.

It only has 66k on it and its free for me

I just like the scions and want to prove to the honda guys that torque is what matters.

I hate their 300 trq 500hp curves. And the peaks are horrible. Max trq is at like 6000rpm and max HP is at like 8500 rpm and its very peaky. Otherwise known as the Mount Everest curves.

I like my salt flats curve

not to mention the SC owner had meth injection and lots of other parts besides the Dyno correction factor.

roots type SC? one is not made for the tc and never will be made considering this is the last model year. they discontinued the TRD charger aswell

There isn't enough room to run a roots style supercharger in our engine bay. You would need to invest retarded amounts of money to just get the S/C to fit, and then even more money to incorporate a turbo system. You'll basically end up spending between $10-$15,000 just to have a slightly more responsive throttle and about 200 less WHP.

Again, if you want instant torque, get a V8, don't waste your time with a I-4. Buy a Vette, get an exhaust, intake and cams, and go to a Honda meet and offer rides. Everyone of them will ____ their pants when they get smacked in the face with 600ft-lbs.

This has all been looked into. It has all been attempted. Every result was complete failure.

or you can go buy a VW golf 1.4 TSi ..... comes twincharged from the factory. The supercharger gets cutoff at 3800rpms and turbo handles the rest.

http://paultan.org/archives/2006/07/...d-14-to-200hp/

here is a diagram as to how it works

yea for sure a vette would make the honda guys think twice about why they ever built their cars. When I can only take a turn 2-3 mph slower it dosnt matter when I can smoke em on the straights by 30mph or more depending on how short/long the track is

Yea v8 mustangs...lol

I love honda's man, I just hate the ricers that are like weeee im soo loud im fast weee

Im all about the ls-vtec, b16, d16, b18, k20a, k24, h22, f20, i love honda's bro.

I like all cars. I even hate the vette guys that think they will smack any civic without doing anything to their vette.

I love watching pinks and seeing the 10 second vic's that smoke build muscle cars, it just a warm fuzzy feel.

I'm just saying money aside, a turbo ls3 (stock vette, not z06) or a turbo h22?

All serve different purposes, all have their advantages, all have their weak points, all have their happy mediums.

I was just saying that if people with a NA civic (which I would love to have dont get me wrong) think they have the best NA setup ever, they need to find out what a 780hp 572 is all about. Not to mention 800trq lol.

I wasnt running my mouth, im just sick of people who get a I/H/E setup and think they are god's on the road. I/H/E on a vette and poor little civic gonna poop it's pants.
