unichip tune Q's
i have a 05 tc with turbonetics kit .
the kit is out the box tune 8 psi,
so i found a loal tuner for the unichip and i want to know what i can tell them i want to look foward too.
should i ask for around 10psi from the factory kit or should i push for 12 or so.
questions are . how much can the factory stuff hold ? max psi with the 440 inj the kit comes with ?
pretty much im trying to get most boost from the kit with out buying bigger inj. and such .
i also read on about fuel . im lookin in water/meth inj.

looks like im gonna piece my kit from the site . what your opinions on the kit ?

The Turbonetics kits came with 630cc Motron injectors... I have 550cc Deatschwerks with my T'netics kit and I want to say @12psi the IDC is getting close to leaving the conservative zone.
I'd say if the tuner is going to dyno tune then just let him tune tune to max out the injectors with a good margin of safety.

im not sure what kind of power you'll make with that kit
power = fuel consumption. not psi
440cc = 250 hp MAX
550cc = 300 hp MAX
i say MAX because you never want to run the injector on like 99% IDC. that leaves absolutely NO room for error. if your going for over 300hp, get 630's or 750's, just so you know your good, and if you ever wanna go with more power, (which you will) you have room to do so.

IMO the safe max for 440cc is more like 6 psi and 250 bhp. 550cc is close to 10 psi and 300 bhp. For 12 psi you should be using 630cc or bigger. DeAnzaJig is right on the money.
