Sweet. I appreciate you guys taking customer feedback into consideration. I was thinking something like having the end tanks closer to the left and right edges of the lower grill.

Thanks for listening

we were going to go with another core that was slightly wider and would accomodate that, but with longer width generally comes more height and the core was sticking below the bumper which looked like crapola. sooooooo, we could have a custom core made that would be wider but retain the current height, only problem with doing custom things like that is we run into higher cost, and im sure you know, higher cost for us equals higher cost for you which sucks for everyone!

yeah, thats what i was talking about as well. we have another core here that fills that area perfectly, but its 3 inches taller and hangs below the bumper. hte only alternative would be to have a custom core designed, but as i said, cost becomes an issue. ill try and get some pipes on with some pictures so you guys can see what it looks like with piping filling that area. itll give you a better idea of what the finished product would look like.

Ok cool. I suppose if its gonna cost that much more than it isn't worth it. Obviously I wanted the best price possible. Any word on the progress of the supercharger intake? And the pricing of the whole kit?

we havent really come up with a price yet, because it will depend on the amount of bends required and we havent set a final pipe design. the kit will include the FMIC, intake, and a mini battery kit though. of course, we'll offer the intake seperately for sale for those not wanting the FMIC.

Wow! The kit coming with intercooler, intake and battery kit, I don't expect it to be a cheap kit. But well worth it I'm sure

unfortunately, due to the location of the supercharger and the room it takes up, the mini battery kit will be necessary. however, they are not expensive at all and it wont increase the price very much at all.

we could definitely powdercoat the pipes black for you if you wanted, although there would be an additional charge to do so.

Is there a possibility to make an intercooler like this? Have the pipes run through the core supports, if avail..(your pic is dark)

hiding the pipes is what i like to see...

Also, Bar and Plate or Tube & Fin intercooler?

All I know is that ZPI deserves major props in the Scion Community! Can't wait to see the end product. I can't wait until this Spring/Summer!!!

there is enough space back there for that kind of intercooler, but that endcap design doesnt exactly perform that great in terms of airflow. Why? The right corners make voids and turbulent areas. You want to keep things as smooth as possible and voids like that just make more lag.

Thats what im using on my DSM and I have no problems putting down 400whp on my 50trim... A supercharged scion should be able to work off that core design very well.
