Default Vac line size?

Anyone know the size tubing used on the stock vacuum line from the throttle body?

Thanks!

I'm fairly certain the vacuum line is 5/16"

OK I'm looking to buy a silicon vacuum line so I can hook up my vacuum block. Anyone have a good link for me where I can buy one?

My apologies its actually 5/32" hose. As for where to buy it the Turbonetics part numbers for it are:

30542-BK Silicone Vac Hose, 5/32" -Black
30542-B Silicone Vac Hose, 5/32" -Blue
30542-R Silicone Vac Hose, 5/32" -Red

Any Turbonetics vendor can get it for you in any of those colors. That part number is for one foot. Its sold by the foot. MSRP is $2.48 / foot. But you know how MSRP works...

Hey Rob, this is for the hose from the "T" to the BOV right?

If it is I'm looking for the size on the tubing from the throttle body....the stock Vacuum line. I just wanna make sure cause I was looking through my install manual from my kit and its 5/32 vac hosing but that hose is way smaller then the vacuum hose I'm talking about.

Ahh yes. That part I gave you is the size provided by Turbonetics. The stock one is probably 1/4". That part numbers for that are:

30543-BK Silicone Vac Hose, 1/4" -Black
30543-B Silicone Vac Hose, 1/4" -Blue
30543-R Silicone Vac Hose, 1/4" -Red

If you take a ruler out to the car and disconnect one end of the hose you should be able to see the approximate size of that hose. I don't know of any other diameter vacuum hoses though. Price is exactly the same though...

Yup. That line, like all lines are measured by inner diameter. It should be very close to either 5/32" or 1/4". Since we know its not 5/32" it should be close to 1/4".

Hmmm. Like I said first time I heard of that. I'll ask the Sales Manager tomorrow though... not trying to persuade you to go elsewhere but Summit Racing carries this for $1.95/ft and they dont appear to have a $20 flat rate assigned. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...&autoview=sku\

Thats the blue hose but I'm sure they have black and red on there also..
