Default Wastegate adjustment

Does any one knowo the proper way to adjust a tial 38mm wastegate down to 6psi. It came with a .9 bar spring which is 13 psi and I dont want to run that on the stock motor. So is there anyway I can adjust this, or do I just simply have to buy a new spring.

Thanks, --Miles

Change the spring. Dezod's got you covered!

They can get you an assortment of springs, from 3psi all the way up to 20psi for the 38mm tial.

Thanks man!

Yes they make all different types of springs to get that bad boy set to run whatever you want. Make sure you either have a rubber padded C-clamp or another buddy helping you change it out.

i can picture someone trying to hold that 20 psi spring in place and re-assemble the wastegate with their bare hands

yes you have to change the spring... i believe it is blue for the levels you are looking for... there is a whole set of springs from low psi all the way up the the 15-20 psi levels...
