um the actuators on those greddy turbos are very sensitive if they are slightly bent or damaged bye bye engine if the plunger in the actuator sticks and boost will increase dramatically =/
besides the actuator make sure your emanage is tuned very well...a bad tune can cause a major headache with this kit =(

I am starting to come to a conclusion, that if you Buy the GReddy kit, I would immediately replace the WG with something else. It's to much of a coincidence with the WG that they are damanged during shipping. I see a quality control issue going on.
It's funny how a company will have a phenominal kit on a different application (350Z), but have quality control issues on another (Scion tC).

sometimes not exactly shipping issue, it could be the consumer...we all know when we get a turbo kit it, first thing we do is take out the turbo and check it out and play with it hahah it could be damaged by us too =/

Yeah, but obviously the internal isn't in the best interest of their customers..

I guess they don't have this problem in the 350Z world, as they use External WG on the 350Z kit.

Yeah, funny how everything get's multiplied by 2 when you have a more expensive car to mod..
But I got my Christmas bonus so the Z got some presents this year, about $800 worth.

Although zer0 and the crew are right, you need to replace that actuator... your overboosting into potential no man's land
