Default Wastegate spring

How can I tell which wastegate spring I have in my TiAL f38? The spring just looks dark.

idiot

the answer is cross reference what max boost you have and convert that to bar and look under the table tom provided for you under the spring colors.....it will be one bar alone.....theres your spring
I bought the kit used that's why I didn't know. Second off if I were insulting him I would not have put "lol" after it.

Take a vaccum gauge to the top port of the wg. When it starts to open is where ull get the # ull need. Convert in/hg to psi and ull have ur spring pressure. Google search the conversion calculator.

i can tell you on my car all i had was an MBC and it held 10.5 psi. the MBC was all the way down i just used it to prevent boost spikes. i just wasn't sure if for some reason that the mbc made the car run at 10.5 or if it was a 10.5 psi spring. i asked for a 10 psi spring when i bought the kit. but being that todd sold me the kit i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't what i asked for.

I ended up cleaning the spring off. It appeared to be worn off but it was actually buildup on it. It ended up being a large blue spring.
