Any dyno/track numbers yet? Any kills with this kit?

not many people have this kit on this forum.....and the people who do are kinda still fine tuning them a bit till there ready....=/ i mean dont get me wrong, its a really nice kit. it just doenst come fully complete like other turbo kits so there are alot of minor tweeks and adjustments of parts you have to get before the kit will run.....

I installed my greddy kit with a aem wideband over this past weekend and at wot it looked like i had readings of 11.0 to 12.1 on the aem wideband but my motors blew at 4500rpms in 4th gear so i am still trying to find out what went wrong i loaded there base map and had rc 440cc injectors. i will keep everyone updated as i sort things out as for the install its not bad but you have to modify there altanator heat sheild a bit otherwise it touches that manifold and figureing out which bolts are what takes some time because there instructions arnt so great and also they leave out what to do with the one way vacume fitting that goes on the brake booster line.

What extra parts did you get? Here's what I ordered and ordering...
GReddy Kit OPT. 1
Dezod EManage P&P Harness
HKS Super Sequential Blowoff Valve (SSQV)
HKS SSQV BOV Flange
Gauges and POD
Full Synthetic oil & Filter
Denso IK22s Spark Plugs
GReddy Support Tool
Down the line I'll get a boost controller

Am I missing anything? I think I'm gonna stick with the 440 injectors for now... or should I? It'll probably be almost a month before it's installed unless I can get in some extra work hours before then or if I'm brave and install it myself with the help of someone. After install it'll go for tuning or maybe I'll have the place that install's do the tuning. I'd really like to find someon to install that knows the tC and if possible the turbo but that might not happen.

well i found another motor so im gonna put the new motor on the dyno and do some tuning also gonna install the bov because there is alot of pressure in those pipes. on a good not the little bit i did feel of my car before the motor went it felt amazing very torquey and boost came on pretty early. looks like this setup has great potential just be careful and make sure its running right lucky for me i found a new longblock out of a wrecked 05 tc in NJ for a great price hopefully everything works out. was gonna do pistons and rods but i think opening up a motor might be asking for trouble.

DUDE! I thought that was turbo lingo when you said your motor blew at 4500rpms in 4th gear. I didn't think it actually blew. Not laughing at you, just how much of an idiot I am. So did you have a BOV installed when the engine blew? Did you do the install yourself? Please give any info on what you think it may be.

yea def need at BOV, dont boost without one...puts too much pressure on the turbo itself....thats what could have caused u to pop ur engine.

im gonna get mine fully tuned and everything prepard before i acually go WOT

running without a bov will not cause you to blow your engine but it is not very good for the turbo but the only reason i did it is to make sure the car was runing right because with a bov there might be stalling and stuff i had planed to do it this week. i honestly think the problem was greddys base map because other people had said it sucked but i though it would be safe just needing alittle fine tuning. and yes i and a friend installed the turbo kit

Has anyone seen the new issue of motor trend? Theres a greddy tc towards the back. With the greddy turbo they got 260hp and ran the 1/4 at 14.2.

I was also think of having them install my kit. I just want to make sure the place I take it to knows tCs and or the greddy kits and titan knows the greddy and the tc (well, kinda the tc). What other problems have you heard with this kit besides that guys motor blowing?

What else was on the car? Is it 260 crank or wheel hp? Which issue June or July, can you post the article?
