i actually got a ride in the s/c one yesterday at a meet. its actually pretty quick and has good pick up. i then gave the same guy a ride in mine, he noticed the difference and said the same thing!

You won or they had you?

Kit looks nice. How hard was the install? Also, anyone no if the intercoolers can be painted black?

Here is another shot of the tc with the Hks Hi-power mounted. The kit is going to arrive tommorrow, so I will take shots of that as well. Later,

i paid $650. I think it was a good deal, the installer did a good job and hes local so in the event i ever have any issues, he's there to take a look at it.

it was a turbo wrx. i rolled my window down to talk to the guy, he looked at me and drove off though, maybe he was embarassed?

thanks man. i remember when i got my tags i only had tint and springs. well, things have changed in the past year. i wish you were still in town so i could take you out for a spin. i guess you'll get yours soon enough!

no BOV yet. the local performance shop suggested i not get one yet until its sure that the kit runs smoothly. he explained why, but i dont remember, im still a noob to this forced induction world.
there is another guy that has the same kit in my area, the same shop told him not to install it, but he was dying to have it, so they welded it on for him, and his car stalls at times. mine runs great, i'll be getting one in a few weeks if everything is running smoothly.

no bov would be bad for the system, it is really reccomended....and get it tuned right away, all the pressure the turbo creates cannot be released properly and creates more stress on the turbine itself, thus wearing out the turbo faster i belive
