If i got a Dezod kit for my car...and it claims 227 whp with out of the box psi, and i added exaust...and lets just pretend i have 240ish whp. What do you think it would run in a 1/4 mile? 13.8-14.2ish?

If you know how to launch properly, and have a better pair of tires, i would say 14.5 is feasible.

it's gonna be faster then 14.7 (with good traction and good launch at least). i'd say 14.3-14.5

you might want to think about the life of the transmission once you start making that much power (and torque).

Oh i know, once you hit 250whp the tranny starts slippin. I talked to a guy on SL and a better tranny will cost you around 5k unless you know someone that can get it for you for cheaper...which i luckily do . I sure wish it was faster than 14.5ish, i would love a mid 13 sec car..i knew i should have got a manual, maybe i can trade it in?..only has 2700 miles on it

I ran a 14.315 @ 96.53 MPH 1/4 mile - with drag radials, not really launching that high. I know how to launch better now, so I expect my times to cut down more.

Manual has nothing to do with it. U want a mid 13 sec car then up the boost and get it tuned. Base map will get u those 14 second numbers. I'm a turbo auto and I bet I can hit low to mid 13"s easily. Those 14 second runs are with a base map which will give u around 220 -230 whp, that does not mean that's all ur gonna get out of that turbo. There's somebody on another forum who has a 255whp auto and he's running I think a 13.4

Trust me I want to. My boy races semi pro @ Englishtown and he tells me I can go on a wednesday and get like 8 passes easily if I just wanted to see how the car is running. Its just that I have to take a day off from work to do so and I don't like to. Maybe I'll go the week of September 11th, I'm on vacation that week :-)

I go to L.I. And practice indoor speedball paintball after work. Its great practice for playing scenario woodsball which is what I do. And again, I work and would have to take the day off. But maybe like I said when I'm on vacation I might go.

Well the manual is a 5 speed while the auto is a 4 speed, but i would rather have a manual because id rather just upgrade on a clutch than swap out a whole tranny. Did you swap at yours having 272whp?

Nope, still stock tranny. I heard about slippage after 250WHP but I haven't had any yet, but then again that comment might come from people who beat the hell out of their cars, I don't hit boost often, maybe on the highway to pass somebody up, or maybe from a stand still from 1st to second, but rarely. I also heard I would need a tranny cooler after pushin 240+, haven't had a single problem yet with over heating. Also heard I'll run out of fuel with 440cc injectors when I reach 270WHP, well I have more than that and I'm runninf rich still & haven't even changed my fuel pump or raised the boost... I just think its all about who and where u get ur car tuned. But I'll let u know if I have any problems of course.
