Default What gap should I be on with a turbo TC?

I'm getting random misfires back and forth with sluggish accelaration/boost and I even cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner.

Any Ideas??

I've ran searches back and forth on this..nothing

I think it could be a bad tune too...is a .028 gap good for cold plugs?
new issue btw...

I run .32 on 20psi. On 2 step colder plugs. It probably is the tune. Are those plugs different gap from the ones that the the was on?

between .028 and .030 is good

NGK Iridium cold plugs are pre-gapped at .030

Yes...

It ran better on the regular AEM Base Map! LOL!
I also spoke to Luiggi from Olympic Motorsports who wanted me to download my map and send it to him via e-mail. Unfortunately, I don't have the slightest idea on how to do that..hehe

I 2nd that - deff a tuning issue - also hes not using copper plugs the EIX indicates its the NGK Iridium IX which is a very nice plug - im running the exact same plug as it came which is gapped to .030 and ive had 0 issues with mine (Im using the 7 also which is one step colder)

and i dont think its a spark plug gap issue either. What situation do you miss? cruise, part throttle boost or at WOT

Yes, CEL's. Sounds like ignition timing. Call up your tuner and ask them if they adjusted ignition timing. You say it ran better on the base map. So if they changed that then this could be the problem. You just changed ur plugs, so was this happening before you changed ur plugs?

bro take it back to japtrix. which honestly is not a good place for a scion. 07tcryder (olindo) took his car there and they messed it up there. i heard not so good things about them. but anyways try the gap to .30 and before you changed the plugs did it misfire also? try changing the coilpacks around. and see if you get random misfire. but if its not the gapping then for sure its tuning? when does it misfire on partia throttle or WOT?

10.5:1 during early stages of tuning. After bogging and misfires, we changed and ran great.
