Smile What Have You SPent On Forced Induction?

I was just curious to see what most people have spent on their foced induction projects. Me and my buddy both went different ways he went with a supercharger for his K20 Civic SI and I went with a Greddy Kit for my tC. I'm not asking about your like with your exhaust and interior mods. Just the parts your needed to get your car going, the turbo or supercharger, Gauges, Oil Cooler, Turbo Timers, BOVS, Injectors, Plugs ....any extras like that count. Thanks guys.

i'd say check some of the web sites since most are either running a greddy, dezod, ptuning or descendant kit and most run 3-5k before tuning, install (if they dont want the hassle of doing it themselves; which i dont blame em) and then other things like gauges, maps, ect.... so my guess is if they do it new around 5k?

I'm definitely in the $5k+ range with a bunch of new custom work (no more descendant kit), & I'm gonna have to get rid of the AEM F/IC & run a full standalone cuz I'm running into some serious issues with my MAF & the car dying. It's a pain in my buttox trying to get this dang boat to run properly. To top it off, slipping transmission so that's gonna wind up costing a pretty penny to rebuild, too.

Im building my second custom kit right now and it looks like it will be completed for about $2100, that included gauges, every nut and bolt and even oil and a filter. Every thing I need to get running.

My first custom kit that I sold cost me $2285

Man why have so many had issues with the FIC? Anyone think the plug n play harnesses are to blame? I wonder what they use for the sig grounds, etc? I have hard wired 3 of them now and all 3 work perfectly - no hickups whatsoever. As for how much ive spent - id rather not even add it up lol, or else Ill be kicking myself in the ___ for not just getting rid of this damn thing and gettin something faster. Buttttt as an estimate - Tranny swap + clutch - $1800-2000, current turbo setup - $2000, fuel/management - $700, gauges - $300, Motor build - $2000, so yea ive prolly got around $6500-7000 in it right now - that doesnt include the first turbo setup which has since pretty much all been replaced - not to mention all the other little things that add up

i think i spent about 4 ish, for turbo kit, gauges, clutch and flywheel, exhaust, and everything else to get the turbo running right. (tuning not included because that hasn't been paid for yet)

4-5k for a complete PNP kit. Add tune and install (both free for me). Maybe a nickel or two more for gauges.
