What are your LTFT/STFT????
i had my car tuned at dyno for WOT but now im doing my own street tuning in vac cuz im pulling -20/-30 fuel trims LOL i have 550cc and my tuner didnt tune ANYthing, so i was wondering for all of you that have been turboed for a while what are your trims?
I KNOW HOW TRIMs WORK and that u want them as close to 0 as possible and ive read the threads dealing with this... ive done mine a few times pulled the ecu fuse and trims are out of wack so im doing themm again, untill i get it right
and to you DIY'ers if you guys can post or email me ur injector maps from ultimate id like to compare (if your running 550cc)

first thing I did was to make sure my O2 map was spotless in the vacuum area (FIC) per afr gauge, then I went into the fuel map and added fuel to lower the +fuel trims and subtracted to up the -fuel trims. The Long terms might take a couple of minutes to follow the short terms. It seems like you should take about 20-30% off of fuel to kick the fuel trims down in vacuum.
What I like to do is to use the injector size change option.
Ex. If I wanted to add 5% of fuel I would do the following:
700cc x .05 = 35
700 - 35 = 665
Then right click the table and under new injector input 665 and under old 700.
If subtracting fuel just flip the numbers. That will give you a good and safe idea to start. I found this myself when I started tuning for e85. I started by blending and eventually added the full 30% needed for e85 over 93 pump gas.
Hope that helps.
If you could, send me ur map with a good description of ur setup.

Chad, this is how you make people look bad..
First.. Your on a basemap. That YOU tuned................................
Secondly. the fuel trim that your speaking of on the fic software is not your fuel trims from ecu. You need a scan gauge to see those.
SOooooooooo...
Thanks for the help marcello! Any updates bud?

Naw I ordered the street pressure plate which it will be rated to 595 and it's half the pressure then the extreme one I had I already got all the bearings and should start working on it by next week. I'm going to orlando this weekend I wish I had my car I would have driven to get my generous tune from you but sucks I don't have my car ready. Hey did you ever take the pan out and checked what we talked about?
Yup, It worked =D It ended up being the timing plate was damaged due to a cheap agency power pulley being damaged and it cracked the key and damaged the plate!
