245/45 Nitto Drag radial... no heat cycles yet been raining
17x8.5 +30 Enkei RPF1 DG

Also have used 225 BF's on Stockies. They work well.

I cant hook on the BFG's for some reason, there the 225's! there not as bad as street tires, but damn.

I likes the BFG's. However the Nittos were cheaper, so I decided to try them out.

Those are street tires, which i use.. but i spin 4th gear in them..

justin do not get the 8" wide slicks YOU will spin them.. i cant catch a decent 60 ft no matter how much we warm them!

Best ive had is 1.80 but if you take a look at my youtube.com/elevationtc videos you will notice in my 12.4 run i spin in 1st

you are most likely running too much psi if thats happening. lower the psi down to about 9 psi or when they start to wrinkle. i have the same size tires on weld 15x8 rims. you wouldnt want to really launch the car that hard though, because you most likely break an axle with that much traction.

stick with the slicks you have. i bought mine from leslie durst when she came to what used to be moroso one year for the sport compact nationals. her car runs well into the 9's.

im also going to be looking into that os giken unit very soon as well as one of my next mods.
