yea he could be referring to a very small turbo that spikes 22 psi. but even then, bye bye head gasket. im not agreeing at all with his statement, dont get me wrong. but 22 psi on a td04 and lets say a 6262 is a whole different story. still a dumb claim though.

21 psi on E85 on a small frame turbo... Possible, way out of its efficiency range for say a 16G or T04B 50 trim, but as long as it was on E and the charge is kept cool enough youd probably end up with low 400's. I know low 400's on stock block is possible on E, however how long it will last no one really knows. The one person I know of who did it probably only put 500 miles on the car afterwards before returning it to stock.
Stock RODS on the other hand, well I actually had a motor with CP Pistons and stock rods at one time that ran on 20 psi, dyno'd about 410whp, and lasted well until I decided to go for broke and build another motor. At least from what Ive observed the ringlands on stock pistons seem to be the first thing that fail on pump gas. Although I never ran E85 on a bone stock motor, I could see the cooler combustion temps helping significantly with this.
All in all, the real question isnt can you do it, but how long it would last, the answer there is probably not long. However, you just never know, like with LS1 guys, for every guy you hear of that made 700+rwhp on pump gas for years, you also find a guy who blew the damn thing up at barely 500whp after a week.

^Yeah but don't think this kid is anywhere near knowledgeable enough to explain that, or coach someone down that path.
It was a simple....It can do 21psi and needs nothing internally. Which we know, just isn't true...lol.

Ain't no boy of mine...only run with the smart and intelligent people...
He's not referring to any turbo. He just spouted it out like this was the norm for turbo 2az's.
Last vid I saw, it was mid-900whp.

For those back in the Scion game in 2005, if I remember correctly the "Jamasaco ScionSpeed Stage III" put down 18-20PSIG on a dyno on a stock block. It didn't last, but technically 'do-able' for a few pulls.
It was this car, I just can't find the video on the dyno.

Antagonistic? Not the way I see it. If you are referring to me since I created the thread, keep in mind that I sent 2-3 post to try and educate first. It rather feel on deaf ears. Rather see a little ribbing than to have people going around posting how we can all run 20+lbs of boost and blowing up motors left and right.
