the aem wideband manual says bung should be at least 18" downstream from the source at least 36" if leaded race gas will be used or extreme egt >800 egt eill be expected, good thing i searched coz my installer was gonna weld the bung around 8" away

me and my friend have installed it on the blue dot on out NA's for the momment and we get consistent 14.4 14.5 14.6 readings so looks to be A ok for that blue dot area

^ Pete, I think you could put it there for F/I applications as well. I'm planning on putting it there when I get my A/F gauge...

i went with the pink/magenta dot myself. originally i had it on the blue, but the readings im getting now match the readings i got before

yea thats why we did it.... we are using it on the NA cars to data log and see if hooking up a FIC we can adjust the fuel to get some power out of it....

but the main reason we did it was so when the time comes for boost.. that guage, wiring, and welding of the bung etc etc is all taken care of... future planning FTW hehe
