Default WillUpdate Pictures Soon** - FINALLY AFTER TWO YEARS OF TALK - My 05 build

Short story - I got my TC in Summer of 09 and right away strapped headers, intake, full 2.5 custom exhaust and did a whole bunch of DIY. Lets just say the louder your TC is not better (dont judge me) i was a huge noob at the time. I rode around with the Columbia, SC chapter for about a year - pushing my poor car to the limits. (I'm Army) Summer 2010 i got orders for Korea which by that time i was throwing a rod @ 3500 RPM - it was bad. I am in Korea still for six more months and handed my TC over to JE Import Performance (MD) in June of 2011. 06 motor 23k, All internal ball bearing Garrett w/ with the whole Tial set up, Suspension, Stage 4 clutch w/ fly wheel, AEM digital gauges, New ECU, Tires, Brakes, Paint - A brand new TC in a nut shell. They are about to complete most of it for test drives and DYNO - Any feed back would be much appreciated, maybe i can pass it on to the shop before everything is fully complete.

Bummer is i have to wait to drive it till June 2012 :/

Do either the PTuning front motor mount, or a set of energy suspension motor mount kit. Are you building the block at all?

Yeah i need to ask the guy at the shop about mounts but i'm thinking it comes with their build. I'm going to wait on the block, labor is ridiculous. I did get a stage 4 competition clutch w/ flywheel..

Ummm what? Why would he need to replace a tire once a week or both every few months? Also OP since you are not building the block yet I wouldn't recommend shooting for 400whp I would shoot for 300 to be safe

Open diff + 400 horse = ?

I get 10k out of a set of summer tires on mine(daily driver) stock.... If he has a good set of tires odds are they are directional. And odds are one side will almost always hook. Mine was was right when I bought it.

What are competition tires?

I was saying competition s4 clutch w/ flywheel i had installed for that other dude.. Any suggestions with tires or good performance disc brakes and look good too? I'm doing flat black all around and everything, powder coated rims - I was thinking gold for the discs? I know 400hp is either out of the question or dangerous for the stock motor but i'm hoping at least 320hp..

Even with summer tires I don't see the once a week comment even with the added horsepower. There are ALOT of boosted tCs I would even go as far to say MOST boosted tCs dont have an lsd (me included) and are fine without it. Is it better for traction? sure Is it absolutely necessary for a boosted tc? I don't think it is. With that said if I had the money I'd get one in a heartbeat lol

First gear in a tc boosted is useless so we won't count that... Second and full boost will be pointless. 3rd with 400 to the wheel would be all but useless under full boost.

Once a week was a joke. Every 5k would be about all I would expect. Fun highway car yes... Light to light not so much.
