Didn't say they built them all that great lol... I'm not a fan of them but my point was how upset would the op be if he was bragging about having a turbo tc and putting down more than twice the power it did stock... And he ends up getting wasted by a stock v6 mustang at a light.

Who cares whats faster in 1/8th mile? Unless thats what hes going for, and I sure as hell dont see that anywhere. If you ran that V6 from a 40-50 roll youd drag its ___. Hate to say it, but unless you set the car up as a drag car, youll learn quickly a high power tc is much better as a highway roll car Esp with an E351 swapped in an 7000-7500rpm rev limit. Also, I really dont understand what youre trying to prove with the invoices??

Now I'm a drag racing guy and based off what I've actually seen at the track and take for example thendawg's tC....it doesn't matter if it were the 1/8 (who really cares about the 1/8th), 1/4 or highway a Mustang would be NO contest for a turbo'd tC anywhere near 350whp and up. That Mustang (below) ran 14.20's all day....an auto tC running only 7psi runs 14.00's
Mustang even starts early from a dig and gets hawk'd down by a turbo tC!
Sorry but I havd a very strong dislike for Mustangs as I'm sure everyone knows that by now!
OP, you don't have to worry about Mustangs....they'll be smelling exhaust fumes the whole time! I'm sure you'll be happy once you get your tC in June.

Thats exactly what I thought thats WAAAY too much money for spring install and honestly for the price of the used engine you are paying you should have at least looked into one of Dezod's or PTuning's built blocks
#48
The dealer will install them for like 200. When paying 300+ for springs and 500+ for installation, might as well get coil overs.

im sorry bud but there raping you in prices, almost half the ____ i read is overpriced, you could have gotten a built block with the money the charged you for one amd $1400 to install? wtf?....$3900 to custom fab a turbo kit? ._____. plus $600 for engine management + all the other bs charges, im sorry but you could if saved $5000-$10,000 if you were patient and did some research

Im saying that for the point that he could of saved $1000 on a brand name kit here on the classifieds. But man i feel bad for the guy, he got overcharged on EVERYTHING. for a new cutom kit w/management its not too bad but like i said he could of got one cheaper on here.

Sooo let me get this straight.
14K invested and no built engine ?
If you want a built engine at the end of summer i can sell you mine with only 500 miles on it and even deliver it to MD for free!
P.S. As far as mustangs it all depends if it's a stock one or not, if it's before 2011 model or not.
Just for reference it's going to take ALOT for a tC to beat my mustang in few weeks.
I own both a fully built tC and a 2011 5.0 with some things that will be installed in few weeks. Yes my 400WHP tC is faster than my stock 5.0 BUT that's not for long. Don't be driving around now and think you can destroy anything on wheels, just be smart and enjoy the car and take for what it is.
Once you get close to 400 WHP on a tC it becomes a scary car to push on the street. Fun but scary.

I totally understand that a 5.0 with mods could be faster....the other person was saying that a stock V6 Mustang could take a high horsepower tC in the 1/8th and the tC would have to catch up in the 1/4 and I know for a fact that isn't true.

I was thinking the same thing as far as having no built engine and I may have to hit you up at the end of the summer about that built block!

yeah man definitely hit me up. I have a fully built long block.
Block is fully loaded by ERL with sleeves and head is built by dezod. Would want to sell it as a whole engine so i'm not left a head.

Some of the prices of labor are high but i know they do great work.. I did not have a lot of time to research and most places dont have a payment plan and allow my vehicle to be in the garage for a whole year for free. I'm willing to pay the extra for good labor. When i look into building the block i think i might ask around on here first.. It's almost paid off now..

Somebody call Mythbusters..... take a peek @ the last video above and you will get just what I mean by my statements.
Me: you want to race?
You: can we go to the highway?
Me: sure....
You... can we race from a roll?
Me: Anything else you would like?
Why would you build the car so that you need the odds stacked in your direction to win?
I'm not saying your car wont be decently quick... highway you should do very well....out of the hole it will be pretty useless.
