We will be using a custom sequential gearbox. The car will be air upshifted and air downshifted with buttons on the steering wheel.

Transmissing doesn't cost that much. Before it was posted in a mag I planned on getting a 6-speed sequential at the time the price was 15k and I agreed to it. Come to find out the price would have been 33k so I decided not to. If I had a sponsor I would be using the same transmission.
