One thing that I noticed were the temperature "stickers" on the front brake calipers.
there is a company called DBA (disc brakes australia) that makes a rotor that has a temperature index on the rotor itself. and i have seen brake fluid that changes color depending on temperature. alot of the GT cars use it in brake reservoirs that they mount inside the cab. that way they can actively monitor the condition of the brakes. i wanna say it was made by AP or motorstate.

another interesting thing i saw this past year was an adjust on the fly rear sway bar set up. the gentleman running it had a lever mounted with in reach of the driver that ran linkage back to the sway bar mounts. the lever actuated the sway bar tension so he was actually able to adjust for understeer on the fly... super cool. and it must have worked cause the car was a 3 time nationals winner. maybe you folks at WR can run with this idea. it was on a 350z driven by Jim Goughary Jr. (well a tube chassis with 350 sheet metal)

there is a link to a picture of the car. for whatever good that is.
