Oh man... I'm sure few years later, there will be 20 different turbos for tC. So far this turbo has the highest FI and I wonder how much it will cost for each stages... maybe I miss the cost from the previewous page.

No cost or dynosheets yet. Hopefully this summer.

Id be curious to see what the stage 3 and built block really puts down to the wheels.

If the S3 puts down what it claims and its pretty fair in pricing.. I will be boosted with this thing hands down.. I just get chills thinking of the power!

stu, what do you think about the tuneability of this system? if its going to be flashed, how will this affect other add on parts. and any reason you picking this over other kits?

i think 300 hp for a daily driver is good enough, but i wonder will it call for replacing other parts to get to 300hp (for durability and optimalbility, just because a kit can get you 300hp w bone stock parts doesnt mean its good in the long run) and if it does call for replacing other parts, how will this affect the ECU.

the opinion of my favorite cartoon character out weigh many others no seriously, but it looks like you've done your homework, so i am curious. others comments are appreciated as well, thanks.

I am actually still trying to understand this whole using the stock ECU thing, but..

I started another thread in regards to the concept of using the stock ECU on a turbo system... here is the link. I was trying to figure out what exactly this means for the system, and what the pros/cons are in this setup. There is a few good points of info there, if your interested in learning something about that.

I think some of the reasoning behind me picking this kit, other than the sick manifold, is mainly because they are so close. I can take my tC to their shop and have them do my install. I also dont want to stop modding my tC's engine until that thing is completely and udderly disgusting on the road/track. They are claiming 3 different stages and 3 high levels of output.. I still am trying to figure out what stage I want..

Of course this is probally the front runner for my turbo kit choice, but I am still awaiting some more details in regards to this setup.

I guess this would be sort of an update and should explain more things better. Basically the same information I was told. ECU ReFlash not ECU retune...same concept as the TRD S/C.

They have been given the right to make the flash and TRD is working on the program right now. They just need to get it back and fine tune it. Chris and his crew cheif said that they want nothing less then 500hp. they will only produce one stage turbo kit if they can get those numbers. As for the actual show car it only has 100 miles on it. the turbo and the nitrous is not functional. The body kit looks a whole lot better in person then in the pictures.

Yeah I assume you are just "re-setting" the factory parameters to account for increased boost/fuel/timing ect

Either way, I would prefer a standalone fuel manage anyway..

I would be willing to bet that the stage 3 will be above 8K....
Just have a feeling about that... That is of course if everything is included...

Your probably right. But if you can buy the internals and do the motor work yourself, that would save you some coin.

Chris Rado quoted me at "Cheaper then Turbonetics" and Turbonetics MSRP is $5,595...
