Default Your AFR Readings.....

Well i Put the AEM UEGO Wideband in today and tell me if this is normal....

1st-4th gear WOT is Constant 11.9-12.1 Full Boost 6.5psi Never Higher Never Lower

5th Gear WOT is 11.2-11.4 @ WOT Full Boost.

My partial Throttle driving normal reads 14.7-15.5 Constant.

Do these numbers sound right for a car with stock injectors and no engine management?

Isn't ideal 11.5-12.5 AFR good?

Why am I at that with no tuning lol?

keep it in the 11's.... IMO 12.5 is a little lean ... although at 6.5 psi you shouldnt have to worry a whole heck of a lot

anything above 12.0 is too high for me. I run 11.4 - 11.7 all day. I idle at 14.7- 15.3

^^^ What kind of wideband to you have? Most wont read below 10.0. WAY too rich.

Firestorm- I dont think your idle should be that off. Most factory tuned car idle right at 14.7. If you are still using the stock ecu tune then you'd think you would be right at 14.7 with or with out a turbo.

Sensor is like.....

its right after the first bend when the pipe is on its way up and over. Its before the 2nd 02 sensor for sure by like 4 inches.

Your good with 14s and 15 chugging though town. With a 11.5 AFR at WOT you wanna stay around there but never over 12 as your leaning out

Yeah, your WOT is fine, and with tuneing, you could get your partial throttle down (i'd throw the black box back on) but your idle shoudl not be that lean. Where is it at when your cruizing around not in boost?

OH, and your running good because the ZPI kit was designed to run like that without tuning. As soon as you put an IC on or some injectors, you will need tuning.

Well, if your AFR sensor is in the S-pipe (like mine) and you have an exhaust leak between the S-pipe and Down pipe (like I did) then your readings arent' entirely accurate. It is reading leaner then it really is.

Depending on the severity of your exhaust leak, it may be that when your running it, there is not much of a leak cause it's pushing past, but when your ide, the exhast gases are moving slower so they are going out the leak, bypassing your AFR sensor so it reads lean. But your car will still run fine because the ECU reads the AFR from the 02 sensor in your downpipe, and there is no leak before that.

What code are you getting?
