I dynoed my "authentic" ZPI kit (16g) at 7lbs of boost, making 250whp/260wtq and that was with a tune in the 10s A/F ratio, so it's not the 16g. The 16g will do 280-300whp at 10-10.5 lbs of boost.

Yes after smashing on the 16g for so long, I had it rebuilt into a tdo6 20g and ran than. Very nice spool still. But you don't have to stop there, you can get a 25g also. And I'm pretty sure that you can get a 3076 witha DSM flange on it.

iam pretty sure that you can put the 18g and other turbos like that with the zpi kit. but i believe its a different manifold. but iam not 100 percent sure on this one. you guys are right it has really fast spool. the tune was also a safe tune. which scrificed power but i have no way of blowing the motor or anything. its a touch on the rich side so it doesnt surprise me that the power is a little down compared to other zpi tubo kits

ok im gonna bring this back to life because from my understanding...the OP has a zpi stage 0 with 440 cc injectors and he thinks hes running 17psi.....im trying to explain how impossible that sounds but i dont seem to be gettin thru to him....his tuner says hes tuned for 13psi....but heres a twist he has a built bottom end....compression ratio is 9:1...chime in please

His HP #'s and the PSI numbers just dont seem to match up.
If its a stage 0 could you imagine how hot the air is at 17 psi with no intercooler?
440's dont seem to be big enough injectors for that kind of psi

I don't care if he has a water-to-air intercooler the size of the Hover Damn, 440cc injectors do not flow enough for 17lbs of boost on any turbo 16g or larger. I was maxing out 550s on 10lbs of boost. Cooling efficency don't have anything to do with adequate fuel supply. You should ask him what his injector duty cycle is.
